FPGEE Test Centers
I’ve decided to blog about the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Exam centers first before the Important Topics to study because I might forget about my experiences when I took the exam. These experiences are based on my friends and my experience. This is going to be important later on, and if you feel like reading this entry again in the future, you can find the title on the list of topics on the right. 
Usually, National Association of Board of Pharmacy conducts this pharmacy examination in New York, Chicago or California.
Normally, the first thing to do upon arriving at the exam center is to check your things in. The only things that can be brought at the examination center are valid IDs, examination ticket, wallet, cellphone and other important things that maybe placed inside a transparent plastic (zip lock type) that will be provided by the exam proctors. So you need to deposit your bag, coat/jacket and other things that are not important for the exam. Foods are never allowed, so you have to check those in.
The second thing that you’re going to do is claim your answer sheets. The examination proctor who holds your exam sheets is going to check your ticket and your valid ID and you yourself, to make sure that you are the same person who is approved to take the exam. You can determine on whose holding your examination sheets by checking on the EE number posted.
Upon getting the examination sheet, you will then be directed to a certain person who will tell you where you will be seated.
Water will be provided inside the test center. But you should always ask permission from your exam proctor before you could go and have a water.
The same with using the restroom. You would have to ask permission to go to the restroom. So I suggest that you use the restroom first before going to the examination room.
On the recent FPGEE in Chicago, IL, some were not able to take the test since a certain airline cancelled their flight due to the weather. I suggest that you book your flight few days ahead from the exam date, and should check the flight status every now and then to make sure of the flight.
We all know that hotels in New York are expensive. If you want to save, you can just book at a hotel in New Jersey, which is like 30 minutes away from New York.
